Our boat lifting and storage facilities are second to none, and include the ‘state-of-the-art’ 45-tonne Travel Hoist, which can lift anything from a small, trailer ski-boat or sailing dinghy to a 20-metre Cruiser. Launching direct to the water from road transport, we can ensure the utmost care and attention for your craft.
For more specialist operations, our Merlo Teleporter is available for stepping masts, lifting and launching small boats, and the delicate operation of removing and installing inboard engines.
Daily duties include high-pressure power washing, antifouling, polishing, painting and varnishing. Salterns Boatyard has one of the finest GRP/Fibreglass repair centres in the country, and our environmentally-controlled undercover workshop allows us to carry out major repair work and refitting, right through the year.
As a European Blue Flag Marina, we of course have on-site disposal facilities for all non-biodegradable materials and hazardous chemicals.
